The Future Leaders Forum has been developed to encourage YOU to start a successful career in the meetings and events industry. The joint initiative by IMEX, MPI and MCI has taken place globally since 2003. Gain a deeper understanding of the meetings industry and take the next step in your career:

Intended for

Students from South East Europe are invited to participate at the Future Leaders Forum organised by Conventa in partnership with IMEX-MPI.

The students attending this Forum will listen to some of the leading speakers in the industry, learn about the meetings industry and meet industry leaders. It will also give them a chance to visit the Conventa show and see how different countries promote themselves. All in all, it is a wonderful experience and all the students should find it informative and fun.

Students qualifying for the Forum should have a students status at a university or college, where they are studying meetings and conventions, tourism or hospitality. Students should not have attended an IMEX Future Leaders Forum previously.

Participation fee for students is sponsored by Conventa.

New in 2020! Conventa Young Talents Exchange

At Conventa we are aware of the lack of personnel in the meetings industry and we are trying to find solutions for connecting supply and demand. For this purpose we have prepared 10-15 minutes meetings for students and their future employers. Participants will get to know each other at these meetings and get a chance to create new business opportunities. Meetings will be held on 23 January 2020 between 3:15 and 5:00 pm

Who can apply? Conventa Young Talents Exchange is intended for students attending the Future Leaders Forum and companies (hotels, convention centres, convention bureaus and DMC’s) attending Conventa as exhibitors.
